THE ADVENTURE BEGINS

Hi Everyone from Flat Panda!

I've been having a great time in Southern Utah with my friend Emma. It is really hot and sunny here in Ivins. Ivins (St. George) is right on the Utah/Nevada border and about 2 hours north of Las Vegas. Emma and her mom, Susan, decided that we should go for a hike on the beautiful red mountains that Southern Utah is famous for, so here is a picture of Emma and I at the Snow Canyon State Park. There are also bunch of National Parks around here - like Zions, Bryce Canyon, a National Forest and the 'new' Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.

It was a really beautiful walk, but it was sooo hot - about 102 degrees. Good thing China has a lot of hot weather too, so I am used to it. As you can see, I did get a little tangled up in some of the sagebrush bushes along the trail...but overall, it was a great way to start my travels! I'll be seeing you all soon from another part of the world!
